Here are some questions to ask yourself when considering volunteering & serving at Rancho Community Church.

What do you love to do? People were designed to be connected; connected to their Creator and connected to each other – we call this community. As we connect with God and one another we learn and grow together – we help each other along the journey of life and we have opportunities to experience love, joy, forgiveness, pain and loss together.
What are your natural gifts and talents? God has created each person special and unique with gifts and talents. We’ve been given these gifts to glorify God and build his Kingdom; we find true purpose in life by doing what God created us to do. What do others tell you you do well? What comes easy to you? What is easy for you but hard for others to do? What gives you a sense of satisfaction, yet others may dread?
What problem do you want to solve? Many of our groups have been started simply by someone who saw a problem and wanted to help. Maybe there is something you see and have an answer for, maybe a need that you’d like to see filled. There are many groups that seek to help others and there’s no reason why we can’t start new groups to fill needs and share Christ in our valley and throughout the world.

As you consider these questions, talk with your family and friends, spend time in prayer, and listen for needs that arise in the church and your community. As you find the answers to these questions, you’ll probably begin to get a good idea where you can serve with a purpose. Then, just respond and start – that’s always the hardest part. Once you begin serving others you will experience a purpose, joy, and community that can only be found in Christ.
