UPRISING
UPRISING is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a time for middle school students to look up, be lifted up, and step up in their relationship with God and others. Uprising is designed to be a powerful experience for students at a very important time in their lives.
With age appropriate games, worship encounters, small groups, and inspirational and transformational teaching, students will experience an UPRISING within them and all around them.
Our goal is to create an environment where middle school students are safe, accepted, inspired, and most importantly loved. When we know that God loves us, and that we belong to His family, it transforms the way we view the world and our place within it. A Christian world view is formed when students come to the cross of the Lord Jesus, admit that they have missed the mark, accept His AMAZING sacrifice for them, and begin to live by the power of the Holy Spirit in obedience to God’s Word – the Bible. This journey of faith can begin and continue to thrive as they participate in UPRISING. I’ve always said, “It is in the middle school years that we form habits of heart and mind that will last a lifetime.”
In partnership with parents and the entire church community, UPRISING is a place where students will be given the opportunity to become who God is calling them to be- in their world and in the larger community- as followers of Jesus Christ.
