Your child is one of the greatest gifts that the Lord will ever give you! During the formative years (0-12) a child learns the majority of their knowledge base and their lifelong value system is established. In this class, we will concentrate on a child’s first five years of life. Some of the topics we will cover include the following: what unconditional love looks like, developing self esteem in your child, establishing a biblically-based values system, boundaries and discipline, good health and hygiene, security, and nurturing their God given skills and abilities.

The most common source of tension in a marriage can become the great unifier. If we better-understand God’s design for marriage, sex, and intimacy, we can thrive where many couples struggle. The goal is to truly experience the pure joy of marital oneness.

As parents we are called to “train up our children” to the kingdom life in Christ.  Integrating faith and life for our children is the most significant role for every parent, but is often relegated to the church.  Every parent is called to pastor their children and intentionally build into their lives Christ-like living. This course will revolve around a work book study rooted in God’s word and discussion that helps us apply it to our home life.

This course is a DVD conference style class with Dr. Emerson Eggerichs, author of the Focus on the Family book Love and Respect.  Love and Respect is a widely accepted book on the “do’s and dont’s” of everyday married life based on Ephesians 5.  The class is an interactive workbook format with a focus on enriching your marriage and learning ways to change negative cycles into cycles of positive health and wholeness in your home.  Because this elective is based upon scripture, you will also be encouraged in your personal walk with the Lord as well as your Christian approach to your marriage.

This course is an in-depth study of what Scripture teaches about money and possessions. Family Life group members have confirmed that marriages are being strengthened and individuals are finding their way out of debt. They are also becoming consistent savers, generous givers, and prudent consumers. Most importantly, people are entering into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ as they learn to apply His Word.
