Area 56 - Vision

Our goal is to teach students how to be disciples of Christ, and show them how to invest their time in the Word, prayer, fellowship, and ministry. We want to provide the tools necessary for them to live a life under the reign of Christ, equipping them to stand strong against trials and temptations. We desire to fill the schools of our community and our neighborhoods with students whose passion for God shines so bright, the world cannot help but notice.

It is also our desire to provide parents with tools to help raise their children to fear the Lord. Currently, we send home the Sunday morning lesson in advance and encourage the parents to look over what their child is learning and encourage the students to ask their parents about questions they don’t understand. Starting in the fall of 2008, our Area 56 group on Wednesday nights will be studying the same topics as the adult studies. Both the students and parents will be sent home with discussion questions to spark conversation within the family. We will continue striving to supply parents with resources to help their families grow together in the Lord.
